AVERAGE[1] Flat Fee Prices for Criminal Defense – Payment Plans[2] available

  1. DUI- 1st offense. 

    1. Flat fee retainer-$2,500 covers all appearances and entry of a negotiated plea (no trial).             

    2. Trial- $2,500.

    3. Motions- $1,500 each.

  2. DUI- 2nd offense 

    1. Flat-fee retainer: $3,500 covers all appearances and entry of a negotiated plea (no trial).

    2. Trial- $3,500.

    3. Motions- $1,500 each.

  3. DUI 3rd offense…FELONY.

    1. Flat fee retainer-$5,000 covers all appearances and entry of a negotiated plea IN JUSTICE COURT.

    2. $3,500 additional to settle without trial in the district court.

    3. Trials- $5,000 for Bench trial (no jury); $10,000+ for jury trial.

    4. Motions- $1,500 each in Justice Court,$3,000 each in the District Court.

  8. Felonies and Gross Misdemeanors.

    1. All prices are quoted by the attorney.

 

 

[1] Prices can be affected by the specific facts of each case (accident, injuries, number of victims), the jurisdiction (where the case is filed), and the current caseload of the attorney. 

 

[2] Flat Fee Retainers-½ due up front, before first appearance, balance due before plea.  Motion fees due in full prior to starting any work.  Trial fees typically due 1 week after the trial is  trail set.
